Trichuriasis Symptoms and Diagnosis
What is symptoms of Trichuriasis?
Mild or moderate patient with trichuriasis often have no symptoms, occasional have right lower abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, low heat and so on.
Severe infections were more common in children, have symptoms as follow:
1. gastrointestinal symptoms: varying degrees of colonic hyperemia, edema, chronic bleeding indemnity, the ulcer formation. Performance for patients with diarrhea, then blood, tenesmus, Rectocele. Some patients have the symptoms such as chronic appendicitis.

How is diagnosis for Trichuriasis?
Diagnosis for trichuriasis is feces examination, Sigmoidoscopy and X-ray. If found the trichuris egg in feces, Trichuriasis will be confirmed diagnosis.
Feces examination Methods: direct saline smear method; saturated saline flotation method; washed natural precipitation. Mainly can be used to determine the extent of quantitative infection boards - glycerol glass counting method (modified method increases Teng).
Sigmoidoscopy or colonoscopy fibers can be seen attached to intestinal worms, the worm can be seen beside the mucus. Mild mucosal hyperemia and a palanquin easy. Colonoscopy with the differential diagnosis can also be used as a means to exclude other intestinal diseases.
