Kawasaki disease Causes
The main causes of Kawasaki disease is infection. It can be caused by a variety of pathogens, including the EB virus, retrovirus, or Streptococcus, Propionibacterium infection. Reported in 1986 patients with peripheral blood lymphocytes in culture supernatant reverse transcriptase activity increased, suggesting that the disease may be caused by retroviruses. However, most research results not been consistency. The past has been raised by Mycoplasma, Rickettsia, dust mite pathogen-based, not been confirmed. Some people consider the problems of environmental pollution or chemicals may cause allergies.
Kawasaki disease in the acute phase have an obvious Autoimmune Disorder. Acute stage of peripheral blood T cell subsets imbalance, CD4 number, CD8 reduced, CD4/CD8 ratio increased. Such a change in the lesion 3 to 5 weeks the most significant eight weeks to return to normal. CD4/CD8 ratio increased, the immune system is activated, CD4 increased lymphokine secretion, and promote water polyclonal B cell activation, proliferation and differentiation to plasma cells, resulting in serum IgM, IgA, IgG, IgE increased activation of T cell secretion of high concentrations of interleukin (1L-1, 4,5,6), r-interferon (IFN-r), tumor necrosis factor (TNF). These lymphokines, interleukin-activity can be induced by endothelial cell antigen expression and to generate new; on the other hand, the promotion of B cell autoantibody secretion, resulting in soluble endothelial cell cytotoxicity, endothelial cell injury in vasculitis occurred there. 1L-11L-6, TNF increased synthesis of liver cells can be induced by acute reactive proteins, such as C-reactive protein, αr-antitrypsin, haptoglobin and so on, caused by the reaction of acute febrile disease. The patients with circulating immune complexes (CIC) increased 50 ~ 70% of cases in the course of 1 week can not have, to 3 ~ 4 weeks at peak level. CIC's role in the disease mechanism is unclear, but the lesion of this disease without immune complex deposition, decreased serum C3 but did not rise, do not comply with the general immune complex disease. Kawasaki is certainly susceptible to a wide range of host pathogen infection triggered an immune-mediated systemic vasculitis.
