Isotonic dehydration

Isotonic dehydration are most appear with surgical patients; water and in proportion to the loss of sodium, which in the normal range of serum sodium, extracellular fluid osmolality remained normal. It resulted in the volume of extracellular fluid (including the cycle of blood volume) rapidly reduced; because of the loss of isotonic fluid to basically do not change the osmotic pressure of extracellular fluid, intracellular fluid was not the first to the transfer of extracellular space in order to compensatory reduction in extracellular fluid, the intracellular fluid volume change does not happen. However, such fluid loss of longer duration, the cells will be the relocation of fluid, together with the loss of extracellular fluid, lead to water shortages in cell.
