Hypopituitarism Symptoms

Hypopituitarism symptoms is based on reduction of multiple pituitary hormone secrete such as reducted gonadotropin, thyrotropin, or adrenocorticotropic hormone.

1) reduction of sex hormone secretion. In woman: postpartum breast atrophy, vulva or uterine atrophy, long-term amenorrhea, pubic hair or armpit hair drop off; in man: testicles shrink, impotence, sexual dysfunction.

2) reducetion of thyroxine: pale, dry skin desquamative, Hair or sparse eyebrows, loss of appetiten, Myxedema, mental disorders; often constipation, cold and obesity.

3) reduction of adrenocorticotropic hormone: fatigue, nausea, vomiting, weak heart sounds, heart rate slow, weak pulse, low blood pressure, low blood sugar, vulnerable.

4) decreased anterior pituitary: a serious crisis, weak, nausea and vomiting; febrile or the temperature below 35 ℃ (low temperature type), low blood sugar, low blood pressure or shock; severe convulsions, coma.
