Ewing's sarcoma Causes and Pathology

Ewing's sarcoma have no clear cause that same as other tumors.

Pathology of Ewing's sarcoma:

1) the naked eye can see: tumors occur in the backbone, from the backbone of the central to the metaphysis spread outward from the flesh and blood damage, the tumor was nodular, soft, non-coated. Off-white cut surface, bleeding or necrosis in some of the region and present wine or brown. Tumor necrosis, may form a pseudocyst, which is full of liquefaction necrosis of the material. After the destruction of cortical bone tumors, soft tissue can be penetrated in the periosteum and around the formation of "Onion"-like layer of the periosteum into hyperplasia, this is a typical example of X-ray basis.

2) under changes: the tumor cells were round or polygonal, fairly consistent patterns, cytosolic small, light stain, the membrane is not clear. Nuclei were round or oval, more or less the same size, fine particles, evenly distributed, mostly mitotic phase. Tumor tissue rich in cells, the cells are arranged in nested, occasionally about 20 ring tumor cells were arranged to form a "pseudo-Ju Mission-shaped" structure. Often large areas of necrosis of tumor tissue. Around the tumor may be the formation of new bone, new bone is reactive, rather than components of the tumor itself.
